Ate here for dinner with my wife around 6pm. Not too busy and adequate staff to manage business. Associates were all polite and attentive. Restaurant was clean for the time of day and business. We were brought chips, Salsa as we were being seated. Our waiter soon arrived and took our drink order, which one drink was incorrect...no big deal, he immediately corrected. We ordered the Chicken Bowl and one taco and split the order. Everything was fresh, hot and quick. We will return.
Really enjoyed coming here for dinner one Friday. Didn't have to wait for a table (that have a lot of tables close together). The food was very good! My husband got horchata which wasn't the best we've ever tried, but we have had a lot. I'm surprised at the low reviews overall because we had a perfectly fine experience here.
I read some prior reviews and idk what went on when people were here, but this restaurant is like the ultimate rainy day comfort Mexican food spot near woodlake. Also the wait staff and owner is super polite and professional. The portions here are huge you'll definitely have leftovers. Also the chips are super warm and crispy and the white sauce is that little bit of sweet white sauce that I always like. Some restaurants make it salty. The chori Pollo was delicious. Love this place. The waitress also made sure we were comfortable in the smaller booth when we were sat because my boyfriend is basically the size of a linebacker lol. Yum yum yum
Mr. Pepe - Hull St. Review I ordered takeout from Mr. Pepe, and while there was a mix-up at first (they gave me someone else's order), they corrected it quickly. Mistakes happen, so I appreciated the fix. The food itself was decent. I had a chimichanga and queso, and even after taking it home, I still enjoyed it. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid, satisfying Mexican food. Would order again!
